It’s really
amazing how difficult it can be to find that special, perfect summer dress. The
one you can wear with anything, the one that deserves THE special place in your
closet. We had one, ankle length, with a tiered, romantic skirt and a fitted
bodice with spaghetti straps. Alas, after over half a decade of loyal service,
the dress has went the way of eternal hunting grounds, bearing on it the marks
of summer strolls, frisky kittens, and just plain old wear and tear. When we saw
the new Spin Doctor dress, we were speechless! There it was, our perfect summer
dress, reborn and even improved! So in
honour of our best beloved, and now sadly departed, perfect summer dress, we
decided the best thing to do would be to break in the new dress with some nice
new styling ideas!
On Wednesdays we wear black is just the right outfit for the
modern witch. With a big black hat, an airy kimono style jacket and occult jewellery, you’ll feel and look like the Supreme!
Our Beloved Monster is indeed tough, and a
lover of clever birds! This is the perfect outfit for an evening walk or drinks
with friends, as you don’t have to hide from the sun. The occult hair stick
will give you a more polished, classy witch look.
We only come out at night is an homage to one of our
favourite lazy summer day songs. We went with the classical, romantic goth look
for it, and enhanced this versatile dress with lace and ornate jewels. Of
course, a pair of flats is out of the question here!
Viole(n)t Dreams are for the haunted spiritualist among us, who strolls at dusk and dances as the sun sets, and whispers to night-blooming flowers. We stole the purple from the beautiful summer flowers, and from amethyst, which brings peace to tortured souls.
